July 2017. The musk mallow Malva moschata is a wildflower found on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. This herbaceous perennial plant has a pink to purple flowers and has a fairly attractive scent that led to it being introduced from Europe and southwestern Asia. It prefers dry but fertile soils below 1,500 m. |
